They are made to order. Look at my profile for a simple pic in the engine bay. Can take some more for you if you like, as that ones ages old and pretty rubbish.

Now, this is that part where you need to sit down.........

£2000 ish and you get some pocket change to keep.

It really depends where you want to take the car. We are waiting to get a forged bottom end and see where we can get it. We are aiming for 550 - 600, but at the moment its running std internals so we are staying at around a safe 400.

This TMIC sounds very interesting indeed.

Would be really nice to see a direct comparison against other top mounts out there just to see how much better they are.

It's running 24 degrees advance at the moment with no detonation. Apparently, 18 or 20 degrees is what the best front mounts can deliver.

But, I just spin the wheel and push the pedels. You will need to ring Chevron to get some proper stats, facts and figures. It is good though. We ran 20 minutes flat out at Donnington the other month with anti lag running all the time. When we came in the cooler was freezing cold and all the rest of the bay was warm or hot (turbo was glowing 6 inches away from it).

You can come see it at Oulton Park next Saturday if you are in that area?

Mine has changed quite a bit from those pictures, some more recent ones are here.

Welcome To allthewayracing.co.uk

Std 2.0 UK STI lump pistons etc, as it came from the factory. Using the same split in the scoop. Spool up is pretty good. We are running 25psi and full boost from 3700, pretty big turbo though (Owen 475).

If you are after an unbiased second opinion call Richard at Tractive and ask him about them too.
They are only slightly larger than the std one, but the core is that efficient there is no additional lag, and intake temp is that low you can run massive amounts of ignition advance.
Be warned though, they are expensive!
anyone else has seen this cooler? is it really that much better than others and even FMICs?

A point to consider is also the turbo you run or plan to run. A big turbo can run way more efficiently and produce less intake charge heat.

There seems quite a few cars running 400hp plus on hyperflow tmic's but i don't remember any aps tmic running that high.

I have an 06 STi and I was told the 04 TMIC would fit my car so I phoned APS in Australia and they said NO. I used to have a HUGE Hyperflow FMIC and removed it and fit a stock STi TMIC and I am much happier. My next move will be up to an APS TMIC. FMIC has too much lag for me, specially with such a huge one. It was fine if it was revving hard, but not for touring/town. Whatever the boys say, for me TMIC is better for day-to-day driving. Now I want a bigger one....
