The add would be for £15.5k if he was willing to sell at £15k!

If the market value for that car is £18k or so then the add would be for £18k, but if no buyers show up and the seller gets desperate, and the only offer is £15k cash and pick up today they may jump at it. Lots of people are getting desperate, and more will follow.

With £15k I'd get a Spec C (Jap import) as they're lighter & faster standard car vs standard car + can be modded to 350bhp with ease. Doesn't seem that many / any for sale at the mo though

98-00 Classics were bad for MAF's, 03-04 Blobeyes suffered with knocking rear struts. Not much else goes wrong unless you make it go wrong.
