I've ignored someone but now his mate who I only vaguely know has added me too...I can't accept 'mate2' cos then 'mate1' will get the hump and realise I don't want to be his mate and have spent the last two years avoiding him, including checking the underside of my dashboard when I've seen him driving the other way!

I can't just tell him I don't like him either cos that'll just make him want to be mates more!
