The flow should be from the RH cylinder head to the turbo, then from the turbo to the top of the Header tank, so if no 1 goes straight to the head I think you'll be o.k.

yes, no1 is from where the under side of the turbo connects, i had a daft thought that it flowed down through the turbo into the head, but if like you say, it flows up from the head (no1) through the turbo then back down to the pump (no2) it will be good, yes.

hi all, sorry for the long break, turbo trouble, anyway im relocate the turbo a little higher and more in the inner wing, so i can let the oil drain back in the sump (above the oil level of coures), this will let me get rid of the pump i was using to return the oil from the turbo, i was a bit worried of it nanyway, im also getting a simtec from simon (area 52) so it can run maffless, so in a month it should be done, fingers crossed, will get some pics on to update you all soon, phil.

just a quick 1, i need to tap in to the sump for the oil return. can i remove the sump by losening off the engine mounts bolts and jack the engine up on the gearbox? will there be enough room to remove it, if anyone has done this pics would be good, cheers phil.

quick update, sorted the tap into the sump, thats all on and heres a pic of my work of art, the manifold headers including external wastegate and screamer, ill get some more pics of the turbo all fixed in its new home at the weekend, thanks phil.
