Today I got some expanding foam to fill a gap between the bumber and the wood then trimed it back with a hack saw blade.

There's three reason why I have'nt brought them.
1. I really don't like any that are out at the moment.
2. And also I like having electric mirrors.
3. And i've heard you can't see a lot out of aftermaket mirrors.

You are certainly right on the last point, i have a set on mines and you need to check over your sholder alot more than i did with the original mirrors.

I'm not really happy how it came out, I want the lip deeper than that. I want it from where I have arrowed.

if you're only making it to be moulded then wire mesh and cover in fibre glass filler. smooth off and go over with normal filler. sand to finish shaping, go over with a finer filler to get a smoother finish, prime it and away you go

There are graphics on the way. I've got someone working on a design. I don't think they are going to be small thou.

What I done in the end was lay wood around the outside and pumped it full of expanding foam.

Name: SNV31318.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 154.2 KB

Them removed the wood to leave a basic shape of what I wanted.

Name: SNV31330.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 125.8 KB

And then trimed to closer shape with a hacksaw blade.
