That's a Siebon bootlid mate and that's how it fits , It's the downside to Carbon / fibreglass panels you are limited on the amount of tweaking you can do . To be honest I am very pleased with the outcome of the whole kit bearing in mind in had to be pretty much fit and finish
Agree with that, when i fitted the seibon bonnet on the spec'C' i actually removed it for a week while i sourced an extra pair of hinge's that i drilled out larger holes for more adjustment.
Insurance is up for renewal this month, was worried abit about it cos of the bodywork mods. But had a great quote from Garry and keith Mitchells. Would recommend them to anyone.
Just something I drew, (very rough) its going to be the bracket that i'm going make. I can then bolt this to the car and then bolt the horns to it. That will space the horns out aswel.
Surely after going to all that trouble with the rest of the car, you'd have a carbon bumpers too?
At the time I did'd have the funds for carbon bumpers there maybe something in the pipe line, but for a bumper your looking atleast £2500 for one bumper. That a lot of money if you crash it when you can buy a fiber glass one for a £200. But like you said why go to all the trouble with the rest of the car. Lets see what happens in the future i might get some.
It wasn't a criticism as I think the car looks lovely. But I think as you've got this far you may as well finish the job.
I no what you mean mate I did'nt take it as criticism. Really appreciate all the feedback. I would like carbon bumbers. There maybe be something in the pipe line. I'll see what ABW can do, if they can do it they will.
Found this wiring diagram on scooby net. Has anyone else used it and found out that its ok?
I'm going to do the wiring tonight if I get time, i dont think it will take to long.
