Perfection
I used them on mine to hold the front number plate on, when I needed to.

I will probably buy a square plate in the week.. but easiest place is Halfords and I had to buy one for the evo the other week as went out and it was missing.. the halfords square ones are not very nice to say the least.

Also allows me more room to fit a larger turbo and swap it very quick..
ie. one for strip, one for track and one for road etc...

The green ties are temp to hold braid from rubbing.
John is been kind enough to make an ally bulkhead.
When I fit that I will assess the fuel lines and replace the green ties as will have done about 3k miles on it by then.
I thought I had found a nice harness bar in my garage, but on testing it, not strong enough
Will try and sort another one this week

Looks good Simon,
Can I ask how many -AN fittings you needed for the swirl pot and external pump?
I'm ordering all my bits this month and want to make sure I get everything I need in one go.
Re your number plate. I have a friend who makes them so can get you pretty much whatever you like - just let me know.
All the best
PS How did you remove the sound deadening in the boot?

There are plenty on online retailers that will make you "for show use only" plates but most will also make legal plates as long as you send them the required paperwork, if you need a legal plate made up ASAP then Halfords seems to be one of the few places that will make them as you wait
simon if you struggle for the plate give me a call and ill source you the stuff to make one from work, will have all legal stuff on em aswell
heres one i made for the ring

its fully legal,,,apart from i dont own the actual reg pmsl

The red on the wiring is staying though. I like it.
I think I will regret the title of this thread more and more and might have to put the word "near" on the front.
Although it is making me analyise the car.. but really to get perfection I am going to have to take it off the road to achieve it and I need to find something else I can drive to keep my interest enough to do that.
I am currently not happy with positioning on front bumper, or paint work of..
I did have an incident in the car this week..
Went around a roundabout a bit quick and had pad knock off when I next used the brakes.. which could have been bad but luckly I had plenty of time to pump the pedal.. I took it easy at that point but it did it again after next roundabout.. stopped and check wheel nuts (had them loosened for me once after leaving the car in a services for 2hours whilst out mapping and it pad knocked off straight away)..
Therefore guessed wheel bearing had collapsed.. I was 100odd miles from home.. limp it home or to nearest specialist.. hummm.. I am one junction from Subaru4you so drove slowly there and the noise was apparent when I slowly drove into industrial estate.. clonk clonk clonk..
etc..
Huge thanks to Len and Mark @ Subaru4you.. straight on ramp and let me check.. yep wheel has loads of movement in it..
They were able to sort it that afternoon which was great.. it had overheated and damaged the half shaft etc and bearing was totally destroyed.. it either did it instantly or has been going for a while but I didn't notice any noise over gearbox.
