No offense Nemesis 911 but Simon is not a free helpline for all and sundry to ring, email and pm to ask questions.

Put your own post in the technical help forum and I am sure if someone knows the answers and wants to help - they will.

Dynamix,
I totally get ya. And I have posted this on other forums and asked others, But most everybody keeps referring me and my mate that asked to Simon. They keep saying to e-mail or give him a call. So I guess right now it's just about biting the bullet.

I know what it can be like though having everybody questioning. That's also why I apologized in advance. However it's a simple fact that there is no way that my car will survive on our 90-92 octane fuel if run hard without some respectable engine management and I am confused as hell as to what to get.

Please try to understand...

yep your wrong.. lol

the only Apexi unit the car has and has had since I have owned this shell is an Apexi AVCR for boost control as I like the change and fiddle wit hthe boost whilst out in the car.

I don't rate the AFC I am afraid.

Simon
Ahh! its an AVCR.... I couldn't see the sense really in an AFC, but thought you might be running some sort of experimental set up!!

Cheers!

picked up the baffled sump from mark at lateral today which is a work of art and I picked up a few bits from dealers today as realised a few items on the version 5 heads I therefore didn't have as all my other heads (I think I have 4 sets here) are v1~4 and the cam wheel bolts are different and cam covers different etc..

I think every part required is covered except a rear passenger cambelt cover..

the car is being delivered back to me tomorrow after spray work..

I had hoped to run the car at scoobysprint on 24th may but think now I will be lucky if I am driving it there running in..

oh yes still waiting on new turbo

Yes.. I have a cossy baffle plate too but think it overkill to use both so just going to fit the sump.

I was intending sticking with the T.. but decided to get it reconned and sell it and as everything else is new I may as well do a new turbo too..

I have both fitted - double bagging technique

I think you will enjoy the V - it likes to boost

I think the G your car will pull is going to be substantially higher.. and I can't drive well enough to do more than track days..

I never said yes to the V.......................................

thanks.. needed it yesterday lol..

the plan is/was to time the engine up tomorrow.. may still happen just then no covers and so will have to run just the centre cover.. wanted to run all covers as it will do a lot of road miles.. I am not going to undo all the hard work timing the pulleys up by removing belt and pulleys to fit covers but also don;t want to delay any longer.

Car back with me today.. engine bay look very nice and the inlet manifold is perfect.

Started playing with fuel rails some colour changes needed to fittings
