Don't vote for lewis. All the previous winners their career results have gone to **** after winning.
Paula radcliff, pulled out of the marathon, johnny wilkinson, turned to glass. and so on and so on.
I'll be voting for someone like bradley wiggins or that becky romero girl.

Anyway, Hoy gets my vote
If Lewis wins will they allow his old man to stand behind him during his acceptance speach so he can gurn away like a good 'un??

Hamilton.
I really don't know why everyone dislikes him.
Sports not the same since Sky though.I used to know virtually every sportsman/woman and from whatever country.Lost a lot of interest now

Rebecca Adlington - decent unassuming lady who just happened to smash the world record. A genuine athlete IMHO (who hasn't got a snowball's chance of winning ) dl
Rebecca Adlington (born 17 February 1989 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England) is a British freestyle swimmer. She won two gold medals at the 2008 Olympic Games in the 400 m and 800 m, breaking the 19 year-old world record of Janet Evans in the 800 m final. Adlington is Britain's first Olympic swimming champion since 1988, the first British swimmer to win two Olympic gold medals since 1908 and is Great Britain's most successful Olympic swimmer in 100 years.[

We have suddenly produced a load of good swimmers and cyclists
I could only really name David Wilkie from the past
(mind you in terms of historical success the only athletes who stick in my memory are Coe,Ovett,Cram,Daly Thompson)

Chris Hoy for me Although I wouldn't be disappointed if Rebecca Adlington wins it
Should Lewis Hamilton decide to ditch the McLaren for a drive in a lesser car, like say the Toyota or Honda, and win the championship in it, then he might actually be worthy of all the adulation currently being heaped upon him, Until then my vote is staying away from him
As for Andy Murray, he should not even be on the shortlist IMO When the time came to stand up and represent his country, the guy couldn't even be bothered to turn up on time, let alone train properly
Yet strangely his form undergoes a complete turnaround when an opportunity to earn some cash comes around, he's just the Paula Radcliff of the tennis world as far as I'm concerned
