Thinking about this a little, we should run a Caption Competition - Best one gets a ride in my 3 wheeler on the next trip.

Thumbs up

I noticed the little detour, as i was behind Mellow in the P1, saw your silver 6 go straight on, the road we went along was a blast, i had mud all over my car, from the roads although had a moment when the Land Rover decided to take over the whole road, hit the anchors and gently stopped rather close to Mellows bumper.

Just intrested i changed up and down the gears hundreds of times yesterday i guess Scoobs and Evos stick mostly in 3rd, for me its 2nd into most of the corners third coming out, and forth if im lucky on the straights, touching instant ban speed

Thanks Mellow,

just as much rain as last time, but far less "public" cars on Part 2

The Midlands Crew had a fun drive back home through the Trough of Bowland, in the dark - ace road (until we caught up with a Citroen C5 doing 15mph on a rear single-track road for the last 10 miles ). Not knocking Citroens in general though - we had a very nippy Saxo in our group!!!

Mathew,

try putting "[ img]" before and "[ /img]" after the URL (without the quotes OR the space) to display them "inline".

Top day cheers Mellow.

I'd been debating on taking my car as I new I'd fall asleep on the way home (done before and never want to go there again). Also I don't drive as fast anymore (must be getting old) so with no co driver I'd get lost. Then when I found that Jason wasn't bringing his other half I jumped at the chance to do the run in a 22B. And he let me sleep on the way back JOHN. There is so much torque in that car but it does drink the juice (4000RPM at 80MPH). The most memorible moment has to be when the back end started drifting, it came totally unexpected but fortunatly straightend up.

Look forward to seeing you all on the next run hopefully in mine with Jason paxing.

Chris are you coming to the Stratford meet? If so can you bring me another bottle of NF cheers.

Top meet, nice to get the new season going!

My TSL tweaked brakes & alignment plus a fresh new set of TOYO's made it a dream to drive - so much easier than last time

Shame about the Sunday drivers!

Q. Do Peugeots have anything but third gear????

As for that Citreon C5, I think I need to get a pair of Exocets fitted!

Here's to the next one, is it my turn?

LOL @ Steve Jackson

Type R ....the road you took was twice as clean as the one that me and Jason(22b) had to take!!! Your right about the 3rd gear though...spent most of the time in 3rd, both hands never letting go of the steering wheel (quick rack ) very ocassionally going down to second and upto fourth for the straights/very tight hair pins.

More of the same very soon please!!!

Unhappy

Muddy roads lovely, have to take the same wrong turning next time

Wheel bearing seems to have gone so off to the garage to get it sorted.
