Running 18 PSI on track with TD04L - go hybrid or FMIC?
#63
Yup, you didn't translate the right way, both dyno runs are with the hybrid TD04!
But the first one is just with a downpipe and the second one with some more changes (Samco hoses etc.) and a complete exhaust system without catalysts.

PS This dyno reads really accurately - my mates EVO got with a complete system around 303PS.

It's easier than it looks With a TD04 it will be even easier as you are unlikely to bog down off the line.
I think that's what was catching out Dave and Pete, they will find it harder launching with the bigger turbo/intercooler set up. Once they get the starts dialled in they will really motor.
You need to get in there quick before they get sorted out
You can borrow my meter to practice

My mates car did the following on this dyno:
Downpipe
panel insert
FCD/bleed valve set to 1.4bar (peak)
380Nm and 252PS
without the high boost the car produced 222PS
A friends MY99 with the same mods as this WRX got the following:
395Nm and 286PS
From what they tell they had a new MY02 STI on the dyno which made 254PS and 330Nm
