Steve we built a house for a Hella rep who went a an air con meeting while we were there he said air con system uses 10% of cars power
also advised to turn system on for 10 mins a week to keep system healthy

I would have thought that aircon only decreases the cars power if switched on during the RR test ... would be interesting to see just how much power it saps.
Made sure mine was turned off on Sat. but normally have it on!
I'd be up for another run even though I won't have done anything to the car .... might be good for a comparison to last saturday.
Might even think about organising it as I'm only 3 miles from Noble's, as long it's not too much of a challenging task!!

Spoke to John Noble today the price for the unichip is £500 they will need the car for a full day this includes a full dyno run.
This price is only for people that were there on saturday normal price is £530.
On my P1 and STI's they reckon on 20-25 bhp increase throughout the rev range plus increased torque.
On uk cars 40-45 bhp increase.
They increase boost to 1.2 bar also map fuelling and timing throughout the rev range. They do not recommend increasing boost any further.
Booked my car in for Monday the 5th of March
Anyone else fancy it give them a call, they can only do a maximum of 2 cars a day.

Nice one Andrew sounds ok for the price.
Be very interested at looking at your graph after you have had it fitted.
There is another shootout going of in the northern forum at well lane.
Be good to meet up again see how we go.
You will probably beat me this time

Apparently it's the work of a minute to take the unichip off just in case you need to claim under warranty.
You can also take it off when you need to get your car serviced by a main dealer.

I'll go to Well Lane if the car is still in one piece
Problem is there will be someone with more power which wiil mean more money will have to be spent.
By the way what boost are you running?

My car is booked in for tuesday the 5th not monday as I said
They are fitting me a K&N panel filter at the same time as the problem with induction kits is it is difficult to keep intake temps down.
