Would be cool if we could make it soon though

I'm going to speak to the dealer first. If they can find something then I'm straight down for a re-run. I'll also speak to JN's at sometime and see what their prepared to do.

Steve - I'll keep you posted. It would certainly be good to put another MY01 PPP on at the same time for reference. (I'm also going to get an ITG Filter).

Steve,

Are you thinking of the SCoobysport up & down pipe? As this was my next thought. I know the warranty is out the window but I was also tempted. May speak to TSL.

I need to be sure there's nothing wrong though first.

Dont quote me on this but.

The up pipe is £125+vat and the downpipe is £180+ vat. They need £28 of gaskets and £30 of studs, plus 4 hours work at £42ph+vat. So that's a total of £623.93 incl vat. And a further £50 + VAT if you want the check engine light fix board.

Power around 270 bhp. Loads of Torque.

Nathan..

If you guys are booking another day at John Noble to sort out the strange bhp results, you can add my name to the list.

Mine produced 240bhp on the day, but with an air temp of 36 degrees.
It would be nice to get the air temp down to at least 20 degrees like the early morning runs, that should in therory increase the result.

Also what boost were you guys running, after peaking at 15psi mine levels out to 14psi all the way.
i've also been running 100ron petrol for the last 3 tanks with a reset ecu.

Let us know what gets arranged, i was thinking about buy a Scoobymania centre pipe and having a run before and after.

Kevin

Seen the dealer tonight and have left a copy of the graph. They are going to speak to Prodrive tomorrow.

I'll keep you posted.

Steve - I have noticed the peak torque was at 4160rpm which is very low. What was yours at?

Does anyone know the correct power and torque figures and what is the rpm. I thought peak torque was 4500rpm or more.

Steve,

You need to be more pushy mate like me.

You also show a max torque at low rpm, mines 4160rpm. Dealer though max torque was 5000rpm.

Max Power was at 6070rpm.

I'll let you know what he says tomorrow.

As the say "Never give in, Never Surrender"

Steve,

If the dealer won't help I'm going to speak to Prodrive myself. (And the number is 01295 273355)

Let's hope they are prepared to take it seriously.

286 bhp with 273lb/ft

Full de-cat, ported headers and APS induction kit are the 'Power Toys'. Then a Forge dump valve and HKS fuel controller

I have a magazine article comparing scoobies. The rb5 max torque is at 3500 rpm. Most of the rest are around 4000/4100 so your rev range doesn't seem too far out
Even so reading this article and the collection of figures has confused me more than ever

Steve,

Haven't go a clue mate. Speak to you dealer or give Mike Wood a call.

Would be interested myself.

My car is going in Thursday for a check on the boost it's producing. (Must get a boost gauge).

Just a note. i have a boost gauge and PPP on my MY01.

i see 1.1 bar min - sometimes 1.4 in higher gears. I do notice that this fluctuates a lot. So one day i get 1.4 all the time, next day just 1.1!!!

Does the bar figure relate to the torque of the car or the bhp (or both )????

I take it i wouldnt see 1.4 bar EVER if this restrictor hadn't been fitted??????

I've emailed my dealer to check it was fitted. How easy is this pipe to remove - and are there any dangers in doing so??

Cheers

Jza,

I'm not even sure where the pipe is but will certain find out over the next couple of days. From looking at your figures it sounds like you have the correct restrictor and things are working OK.

The guy on the rolling road said both my car and Steve's were producing 1bar, which sounds low for a PPP car. I believe 1.2 to 1.3 is normal. Not sure why it should vary though.

I will keep this thread posted on the outcome.

Cheers.
