The downpipe on the 06/07 is longer than other newages so just a standalone downpipe wont fit but will fit if you buy a complete system.

Sure i could get the emmisions checked on mine when its fitted, cant see there being a problem.

Hi Ed, would i still get pops and bangs and the odd flame with one of these sports cats, like i am now with my de-cat ???

 

You will still get a bit of this but the CAT will cut most of this out.

 

Fitting my one on Tuesday, will get some pictures up. Ive neatly ground the heat sheild off and heat wrapped the cat and most of the rest of the pipe. Looks quite good, used a load of stainless cable ties.

 

got mine getting it fitted on sat and getting the car re mapped on sunday

well there was a change of plan i only got it on the 17th feb and heat wrapped it so i booked it in the garage on the 17th went to the garage on the 20th (sat)and they cannot fit it because it will take 2 - 3 hours they thought i wanted the 2nd cat removed and im getting my car mapped on 21st(sun) at 10am so now this is no use to me i paid £190 inc heat wrap the cat cost £175 and the heat wrap cost £15 which has allready been put on so i will sell for £190ono posted or £170ono collection from lichfield would prefer collection tho PLEASE NO SILLY OFFERS

Had my mot today on my newage....... passed emissions with only the one japspeed sports cat in the system!

Had mine fitted today, well worth the cash. Boost comes in lower and exhaust is a bit louder now but sounds very nice. Few more pops and bangs too. Cost £60 to fit from Chelmsford Autos in essex. Done in 2 hours.

Sorry we cant get hold of the wraps at the moment but you can get them from any where like demon tweaks or other modification shops

 

ED, stupid question, why the wrap ? what happens if I dont wrap it ? etc etc
