Cant see any real difference from fixing direct to the 2.5" centre section if the short length of pipe on the adaptor slots inside the 2.5" pipe (which it seems to do).

Would have expected a tapered length of pipe that slotted inside the 3" pipe. The only other one I can see on the web appears a similar design (its difficult to tell from some of the pictures)

I have probably missed something, but grateful for any ideas before I fit.

Hi Simon.
I was about to send off for the same adaptor myself. Am I correct in assuming that you are saying, that the 3" downpipe will bolt directly onto the 2.5" centre pipe, using the supplied 3" gasket, without the need of the adaptor?

Or does someone out there know different.
Kind regards.

Yes, appears that it will fit direct onto the centre section and probably better without the adaptor as the end of the centre pipe has a slight taper so marginally less abrupt. May depend on your centre pipe - mine is a Scoobyworld 2.5" with silencer.

Will do a blind run first and get back to you.

Ok thanks, you are selling DOWNPIPES with sports cat then, not 'sports cats' as the thread title states!

I'll pass unless of course you do indeed have 'sports cats'....

No these are Downpipes with a Sports cat built in as you need to remove the CAT's in the downpipes any way

No problems you just need to make sure they are warm when they go into the MOT like any other CAT really As it is stainless pipe it is often worth wrapping the pipe to keep the heat in and stop it escaping and the CAT cooling

I see you sell the wrap, can you do the stainless steel ties too?

Also would i wrap just the pipe before and after the cat or go around the cat too?

Cheers
Jimmy
