Ed, do you still have the newage sports cats for £175 all in? If so, happy days! Also, how much benefit will I get from heatwrapping it, and will I get any losses from stepping down from 3" to 2.5"(the rest of the system is normal size), will it need an adapter or will it just fit together? . Its to go on a 2001 Bugeye.
Regards
Myles

Heat wrapping them does help keep the heat in the CAT for emissions time. You can get adapter plates to make the step down to 2 /12 a smooth step but often it doesnt matter to much as it is only a slight step.

newage full system
do you still have any newage one's?
How much would it be for a full newage 3" system with this sports cat? I saw on your website that the full de cat system is £350 is there much difference in price for the sports cat with this group buy offer?
Also do you do resonated centre sections?
Thanks

OH no....MOT time and failure on emissions with the sports cat fitted.
My scooby normally passes with just the standard centre cat but i removed this when i put the Japspeed sports cat on....wish i just went with a normal decat downpipe now
I also wasnt happy with the heat wrap i bought from Japspeed being so thin so i bought some proper stuff from Merlin Motorsports so i know the cat is getting hot enough for MOT time.
Never mind
The build quality and fit is all good just be aware that on a classic it wont pass with just this cat alone- or didnt in my case.

Im sorry that you felt the heat wrap wasn't adequate.
We have never had any complaints before and we've always known it to do a good job.
It is good also, as 'SteveRattue' said, to get the Cat hot before a test as it will be more efficient at removing the carbon dioxide out of the exhaust gases.
Anythine else we can do just let me know.
