crf450r said a couple of days ago that they would be interested but he hasn't made his mind up if he wants 1 or 2 but I've not heard anything from him for a couple of days. If I don't hear anything tomorrow I've no problems going halves with you.

There seems to be a lot of text and not many photos in this thread so I took a couple as I fitted my damper today. It's just about the easiest mod you can do and took about 10 minutes.
I've scanned the actual instructions just in case anyone is interested but they aren't really needed. If you want them you should be able to download them here http://files.me.com/bungleaio/mvflua
I've got an alloy bonnet so I've just got the single damper, the kit includes the damper, a couple of washers, a shake proof washer, ball stud and bracket.
I chose to fit my strut on the nearside of the car, I fitted the bracket to the top bolt on the hinge and the ball stud to the bolt in the wing.
The ball stud has the smallest washer underneath, I used a 10mm deep socket to tighten
The bracket has a couple of holes for fitting, I chose to use the right side of the T shape hole. When I looked at the instructions after I'd finished it shows it as being other way up so I assume the brackets are handed but I've rechecked that nothing is catching and it does appear to be ok but I might move everything over to the other side just to be safe.
Thats it really you just need to fit the actual damper, in order to fit the pins so the damper won't pop off you need to fit the bottom end first otherwise the wing is in the way.
This is how it looks when it's complete.
The bonnet is now self supporting from about 45-50 degrees, there is definitely no need for two dampers with an alloy bonnet but if the original support is required for any reason then it will still fit.
£25 well spent in my book
