I have sent a couple of messages to ask to change my email address, as the system tells me 'email banned'!!! for some reason each time I try and change it. Any chance of someone helping me out on this?

Still waiting for a reply. No point me upgrading to full member with this sort of response (or lack of it) at this stage.

Has the potential to become better, but....
One problem with the removal of the infraction system is that it has allowed certain permenently banned ex-members to begin posting their particular blend of trolling, misinformation and insults again. This is unfortunate for a number of reasons, not least because of the amount of time needed to police such disruptive posters.
If the infraction system had any merits it was to allow the community the chance to ban these sorts as soon as they appeared trolling under whichever their many many aliases they chose in their attempts to bring as much dischord to the forum as they possibly can.
Sadly, this has now begun happening again on a daily, almost hourly basis and seems set to increase unless some form of prevention exists.

An alternative one could be that certain members were banned as a result of the infraction system being abused by certain individuals.
The so called Perma-banned are around again, stimulating healthy debate, as usual, can't be a bad thing, surely?

So far, so good!
I do feel some people need to put the past behind them along with the histrionics.
Things will not change overnight so i think it only right and proper to give the new owners and new webmaster a fair chance!

It's looking good imo. At least one of the most vile and disruptive username trolls from the past few years seems to have been eradicated, and hopefully we should never see this particular type of distasteful person posting again on SN.
Hopefully sense will continue to prevail, and the most disruptive users (as thought so by the majority), especially those who seem to think they are the star of their own little SN reality show, unable to control their urges will once again be banned.
As SDB once said, it's not all about you

This is the best forum i've joined to date. When I had my crx the crx-uk forum was a bag off ****, full off people who are stuck in the 15th century lol and there swear filter is just childish.
Well basically keep up the good work and the new management is doing a great job
