Thanks Stu, I think a lot of people would agree that the issues themselves were one thing, but the fact we weren't getting any answers as to why was actually worse. Because we see more from you these days helps out a lot.
But... the car on the front page is maybe more of an issue than you think. I know that you are right and technically things like the infraction system are more important, but as a symbol of how Scoobynet has been neglected for the last year or so that was probably the thing that was most obvious to people.
That's why (IMHO) the biggest sign that we are back on track will be when that changes. I know it will take a bit of time to get the right process in place to choose new ones, but why don't you in the short term abuse your power and choose one yourself
I almost guarantee you will get more positive responses to this than any other single change you can make.
I would offer mine but to be honest it's a bit dull![Sleep](images/smilies/sleep.gif)

I got bored of superfast cars years ago as i have to drive them day in day out, now i like my creature comforts so the M5 is pretty much my ideal car.![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyway, back on topic.

Should really have a "Not Sure" option in the poll to make it more balanced.
Me personally, I dunno. I'll just give it time and see.
The Tyne Bridge wasn't built in a day, after all.

Ah Stu, and you were doing SO well, and then you post picks of your beemer
At least it's not a salesman special, and is at least a few years old, so you're either not a good salesman so no new repmobile, or you actually drive it because you like it. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
BTW, I've started using the new post since last visit button, does exactly what I want, thanks
PS How old is M reg for us foreigners

Yes, it is better.
It is more open to discussion - topics are not closed once Admin have responded on a thread, they allow a reply. Which is basic courtesy and a fine example of showing that Admin. are listening.
The Infraction system left a bad taste with most members, dumping that has resulted in a more relaxed atmosphere ... more freedom to voice an opinion which may differ from someone elses (which is what Forums are really all about - debate).
Maybe ask again in 1 month .... see if it's still looking positive?

Very pleased just hope you can keep up the Pace to keep us misrable gits satisfied
LOL
How about a "I've seen a..." Forum ? Have you seen This!!!..... a Picture or a Video![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
for Topics like below that clogs up General and can be moved to there own section. There are good for "newbies" but tend to annoy regulars on 20th posting
like I saw an .... Scooby in a lake......or Subaru ATV... Scooby in a Tyrewall..... or latest.......Awesome Ken block etc

Havnt noticed any difference bt my suggestions:
-do something with the homepage please! - change the featured car
-do something to stop the amount of scammers (maybe ban hotmail, yahoo email addresses registering or require min post count to post in for sale sections)
-delete multiple posts and abusive posts quicker

Yes there was indeed. All our mods are from nominations. ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Its a 2002, the plate has no age and says different things to people. Some see it as an "M" reg. Some see it as "M - BMW" and some see it as "Mr BMW"
Please explain why so we can look into it.
All on my list of things to do bar the bottom one. Have you had problems since the new web team was introduced? Please explain.
Lucky im not american or I may have taken offence. With all due respect, I will continue to use whatever words I feel fit, even if they are yadda yadda yadda.

Looking fab and hunky dory so far
.....................
but main gripe is amount of scammers, dodgy sellers and general thieving gits who prey on this forum selling their wares and ripping people off left right and centre. Coming from a personal view, this is something that has affected me on a few occasions and I would like to see a trader/reputation system whereby people selling cannot do so until after a certain amount of posts and a show of involvement in the 'community' before they are allowed to advertise stuff.
