Most watches from the third world have been tarted up in a similar fashion. Contrary to what theyd have you believe a 'refinshed' dial makes a watch worth a lot less, not a lot more.

The "second" hand is not a different colour. Its just the photo making it look different.

You'll probably get it from this pic. Look at the Day wheel. its ever so slightly not square. But Ive heard that even genuine ones can be slightly off.
Note that the large hand pointing to 12 o clock is NOT the second hand on Tags. Its the small subdial at 9 o clock that moves with time.

The 12 pearl isn't bang-on with the 60 marker on the insert, so I deduce that I was wrong, it's the right hand one thats bogus.
As mentioned though, mega good rep. . . . .
Where can I get one?

But the bezel rotates so it will rotate one click anticlockwise so it would align with 12 o clock. The Pearl is slightly more recessed on the rep too.
i have two, one for best, well actually that's a fib, i have two because one of my boys hid one down the back of the radiator so i got another. 18 months worth of heat cycles behind the rad and it still worked perfectly!
bought it originally as i couldn't believe they still made them approx 15 years after i had my first F91W.
Will be buying a 60's-70s seamaster when i eventually pull my finger out.

Here is my Breitling (49/60) which is part of a limited edition run by Goldsmiths in 2001 of 60 Lancaster and 60 Mosquito watches. Commemorating the 1st flight of these two aircraft back in 1941.

On the rear is the Bomber Command insignia plus some other engravings.
The authenticity certificate is signed at the bottom by Group Captain James Tait who took over from Cheshire as CO of 617 Squadron (Dambusters).

A model of a Dambuster Lancaster complete with "Bouncing bomb" on the trailer in the bottom left corner all came in a presentation box with the watch.

And this was my dad (centre of back row) behind his 101 Squadron Lancaster back in 1943.The proud reason for me purchasing this watch.

Thats an amazing keep sake for you Mark, huge respect for all those that flew in WWII especially bomber crews. I remember the lancaster Breitling coming out and so envious of it, glad you managed to get one, you more than anyone deserve to have that in light of your Dads bravery, gorgeous watch mate

I have had a few pass through my hands over the last couple of years...... all are genuine not fake or copies, can't see the point in knock offs.
Oldest - Oris Ralph Scumacher Limited edition

Wifes Tag Kirium..... now 11 years old!

Oris TT1 der meistertaucher and CX12,000 feet

Omega speedmaster ratrapante or "split seconds" limited edition

MarcelloC Tridente - bit of a rolex homage but 45mm in diameter, auto and a bracelet that is superb in quality

Seiko divers

Time factors dreadnaught...... won't mean much to anyone that is not into watches

Orsa sea angler divers watch

Tissot seastar 1000 auto silver dial

Oris artelier complication

Omega speedmaster X-33 gen 1

Sinn EZM1

Breitling chrono avenger M1 limited edition of 100 Team SEB in the Volvo ocean race series

Edox spirit of norway limited edition

Another Oris der meistertaucher

42mm Omega planet Ocean

The majority of the above have come and gone in the last 12 months or less
most recent additions that I have yet to take pic's of are a blue faced Tissot seastar 1000 and another Breitling Chrono Avenger M1.......... watches are an addiction not a hobby to me
Cheers

Some of mine (click to enlarge):
Heuer carrera manual (not a TAG logo'd automatic beast).

Breitling Top Time no1:

Breitling Top Time no2 (this one is for sale shortly- practically NOS condition):

Just sold this breitling longplayer after restoration (was absolutely battered TBH and in desperate need of it..did an outstanding job):

Have my eye on a breitling 806 and a very specific vintage carrera shortly too....

Like the Breitlings too. I've got a 2110
The TAG logoed one is much bigger and thicker..totally different watch and casing. Date window on the TAG one ruins it also IMHO.
Here is a pic of mine next to it - see for yourself:

Took me a long time to find my one- stick with it... well worth it.
