This is my 16220, not a top of the line model but I've had it for 18 years & it hasn't let me down yet.

I collect the damned things and boy it is a very expensive hobby. My favourite at the moment is my Doxa Caribbean GMT.

Definitely the choice of the cognoscenti that's for sure. I took that picture at 9.14.02 seconds according to an atomic clock which means as I set that watch over 4 years ago it's gained less than 30 seconds in that time.

Thats tight. Dont Casio quote accuracy of about one second per day? Still: Id be surprised if it was out by more than a couple of seconds a month...

I almost never need to re-set my digi G Shock.
My other G Shock isn't as good but it's not far off.

Beep beep:

Tick Tock:

I like titanium
There is another digi G-shock and another analogue Oakley that, worryingly cannot find anywhere.
I'd like to treat myself to a premium brand watch soon but new bikes, cars and house stuff keep putting that on hold.

Paul.

The F91W is an exceptionally accurate watch GC8. Best 5$ I ever spent.

As far as the G-Shocks go they're also excellent watches. I have a GW-9000A which being solar and radio controlled will likely go on forever and is totally accurate given a forced update when required. Tried to kill mine but even hard use on some fairly difficult climbs has left it unmarked.

I really like my G-Shocks the top middle one (MR-G 130T) must be the best part of 8 years old. It's been in many house fires, many MTB crashes and more and all that's happened is the beeps no longer work.
Day to day I prob wear the Seiko orange monster more than others.

Tragically poor phone camera pics.

The "G Cool" has lasted 10 years with only 2 battery replacements. Keeps accurate date until 2032. Ridiculously accurate. Stores 100 phone numbers and other stuff. Backlight is bright enough to use as a mini torch. Does "auto tilt" light for stuff like diving.

The Cockpit has survived many surfs and hard knocks yet is still okay to wear out without looking too scabby.

Brilliant watches.

In defence of Ball they are 'tool' watches. Also tritium tubes are pretty cool so I can respect them even if I wouldn't own one.
