I would not go mad noise wise, I run a proper 3" system from the turbo with no trim or carpets I have to use ear plugs if travelling more than 30 mins or I can't hear when I get home.
It's only a weekend car so I'm not bothered but a daily driver needs to be user friendly so I would not go mad noise wise if I was you.

team ice is loudest. i have this on mine for shows and a plus point is when you arrive places you tend to have a cuppa tea ready for you as it's easy heard from a mile away on full chat
this is closest vid loads on you tube just type in impreza no exhaust same noise as team ice
YouTube - 2005 Subaru WRX No Exhaust

What's up with you muppets
I opted for a magnex (with centre box) on my wagon and it's still way too loud for me... then again the wagon is a lot louder from the driving point of view compared to the saloon. My sti RA has a 3 1/2" system and it's quieter to drive than my wagon.
I used to have the 3 1/2" system on my wagon and it would actually hurt your ears on the motorway!
So there you have it, if you want loud then get a wagon!
If you think you're blitz/hks/rdiley scott/carlos fandango isn't loud..... it fookin is from point of view of the man/woman on the street

I agree I have the rcm exhaust on my scoob and would love the team ice rear section, basicly rear tale pipe with no back box mental wont get louder imo

I had this and it was very very very loud, got it from exhaust uk. they do a ready made system for scoobs 3"straight through no silencers, only the back box which is 5 1/2" mandrel bend very nice, i think it cost about £320 cat back system

hi all. wasn't sure where to post this, so appologies if its not here. firstly, i'm starting to get annoyed with the little chavvy b******s in their corsas etc driving up and down the road at ridiculous times of the night, stereos blasting, being completely dis-respectful. so apart from me throwing nails accross the road and pissing everyone else off, i've come to the conclusion that a loud exhaust will not only solve my problems but put a fat smile on my face too! i've used the search button to have a look around and the most common answers are the nur spec r and the buddy club exhaust. basically, i want the loudest possible but i don't want to reduce my power output. all comments welcomed. if you have anything for sale, let me know. cheers

Another RCM Team Ice user myself. I have a sports cat but still does the jobbie for me.
I couldn't go full decat on the system myself as it would bound to give me an ASBO.

Forgot to mention I have the Cobra system, so have its 3" centre section as well. Also, when I put on the 3" decat, the sound magnified somewhat lol. I love it when Zen take it for a test drive after any work done , and hear it # ...krobba... krobba... # off up the ind. est., lol...

I have an 05 Sti Type UK. Does anyone know if a Prodrive exhaust system will sound much different compared to a standard Sti system. I just want an exhaust to make the burble sound a little better than it does on the standard system

I'm planning on fitting one of these next year but have concerns that it would be too loud.
Unlike most, I want a nice quiet ride, but with minimum restriction.
