Default loudest exhaust possible...

hi all. wasn't sure where to post this, so appologies if its not here. firstly, i'm starting to get annoyed with the little chavvy b******s in their corsas etc driving up and down the road at ridiculous times of the night, stereos blasting, being completely dis-respectful. so apart from me throwing nails accross the road and pissing everyone else off, i've come to the conclusion that a loud exhaust will not only solve my problems but put a fat smile on my face too! i've used the search button to have a look around and the most common answers are the nur spec r and the buddy club exhaust. basically, i want the loudest possible but i don't want to reduce my power output. all comments welcomed. if you have anything for sale, let me know. cheers

From what I've heard, the 'Team Ice' by Roger Clark motorsport takes some beating! Basically a scaffold pole from the turbo back

You want an apexi N1.

See that face you pull when you stub your toe on something, that's the same face you'll be driving around with if you fit one of those bad boys.

P!ssed of neighbours are an absolute certainty

So, as a solution to the problem of the "disrespectful" corsa boys, you're going to join them! Hmmm!

You'll struggle to get it as loud as a really obnoxious NA car, as you have a silencer that they don't.

team ice with no silencers sounds amazing, even with a silencer they sound awesome.
but you still wont be going wrong with a nurspec r

not heard the apexi one so cant comment but it looks good on utube

you wont be disapointed with any of these but if you do motorway miles prepare to go def(or put bung in.....yeah right )

What is the power output like? I have a bugeye STI what sort of gains would I see? Is the RCM “Team Ice” Rear Section really that good, why is it so cheap? I also want a loud exhaust but I would prefer the one putting out the biggest power gain, Any ideas?

Because there's nothing to it i.e. off the shelf tubing, no resonator/baffling, only 3 welds and 1 one mandrel bend ... Less is very much MORE! lol

Too loud = MOT failure, complaints from neighbours, fixed penalty notice from police etc.
You want nice, reasonably loud on full chant and quiet on tickover, and as John has stated, all you will be doing is joining the chavs.

"Please note that in order to fit RCM645, it is also necessary to fit an RCM 3” centre section and 3” down pipe assembly"

Is this true? has anyone fitted the Team Ice to a different system? Im tempted by this if i dont have to buy all the rest too as already have it!

well my car is only a weekend toy anyway and i don't normally give it some beans when coming home as i like to stay off boost for a couple of miles on the way back to save me waiting around for it to cool down too long. i just want to find the little b******* that use my road as a 'through road' if you catch me drift! i'm already decated with a 3" downpipe and also the 3" straight centre section. only silencer i have, is the baffles on the back box. so, am i good to go with just buying the team ice exhaust? a small part of the reason why i bought a scooby was for the sound, so i want everyone else to enjoy it too!

The back pipe wont match up unless you have the rest

Talk to H&S if you just want a rear and there make you one
