Hi Lee,
2nd time at Cadwell, love it to bits
The bumpsteer mod is A MUST it is so superb into corners (it was fantastic before as you'd expect) the speeds I was able to carry through all sections was unbelievable....there were big bhp EVO's tricked up to the hilt but not one came passed....we passed em all though .....I also had an uprated fuel pump and swirlpot to cancel out and fuel starvation....I'm just suffering from overboost now which needs to be rectified....Cadwell is a must for anyone who loves trackdays
As for my dicky...you know me....alway's have to be different good job I had my good lady (to my left) with me to make me look normal

This is the Corse, stratos rep I've mentioned to you guys... the blue one.
The photo is from the finish of NM5, dunno if any of you went?
If it all goes to plan, there should be some new rear wishbones going on it this weekend and a wheel alignment check. This will obviously need road testing, fingers crossed at Croft
Bob

I've just rang Croft and I'm booked in for the 6/4/02 under the Novices (my first track day).
My helmet arrived the other day from Demon Tweeks and I think that will irritate me having to wear that while driving!
Awaiting some octane booster off Mellow Yellow and now I just need to sort out some Track day insurance. What are some of you guys paying. Looking at various threads £50/£60 seems to be the norm (unless your already covered).
Lee, Mintex pads were fitted okay, they have started squeeling when I am reversing? Other than that I think they are still bedding in (160 miles now) but I am starting to feel more bite from the brakes.
Damian.

Sorry don't know about Optimax, certainly none our side of Croft, maybe in Darlington, however there is a Jet station with SUL approx 2 miles away on the A167 between Croft & Northallerton
Cheers

Looks like the jet station will have to do. I've just looked on the shell website and there is no mention of any Tee-side garages having Optimax.
Bob T, do you fancy meeting up in Skipton and driving up?

Lee,
I got the information through yesterday along with my track day insurance cover.
Bob,
I will see you at the Little Chef at 7:00am prompt then shall I?
My mobile number is (07967) 979882 should you be running late Saturday morning. Have you got a mobile should I be running late?
Damian.

I will not be going, which is a shame, im still not saisfied with the geometry set up, so the the tin can will be going back, the corner weights were not set up to my liking with not enough negative camber opn the rear.
I was at Anglesay on Good Friday and the Coilovers have transformed the handling from Excellent to bloomin marvelous, reputedly lapping in 53 seconds, some guy in a single seater timed me apparently.
Have a good day
Oh was the Red replica Stratos at Anglesay on friday ?
