The Monster gets my Vote everytime , although the rest of the guys mentioned are very reputable and pro mappers. Maybe one day when i have the money i might explore.

But in the mean time Simon has helped on questions non related to mapping and has always been a great help to me. And if he misses your call will endeavour to call you back if he remembers

Simon has mapped my 4 times so far and it has gone from stage 1 mods all the way to 440bhp, his help is always above and beyond the call of duty!

You should get the same result from any GOOD mapper that you go to.
And as all that are mentioned are well respected, i would just go with price and availability.

getting mine mapped with a simtek in 2 weeks with jgm, i've been speaking to simon over the phone for the last few months discussing specs and what i'll need, he's been a top bloke and i've not spent any money with him yet. best thing to do is send him a email or text and he will get back to you.

Don't forget to factor in 2 tanks of fuel, one for getting there and back and one for mapping (well not quite but certainly well over a tank full overall).

Not quite true. I used JGM to map my car properly, after the previous mapper left it running like a bag o shi£e.

and how does that make my statement not true.

it just means you had it mapped by a cowboy first time around.

Because I didn`t get the same result.

Hence the need to get it mapped again by someone who knew what they were doing.

As for the original mapper being a cowboy, well yes I guess so

I would say JGM is better then SC, as on the thread i started, i asked about the 2. JGM as had big hits with 75% of the post SC 5% 20% other.

I did not want to start a hand bag fight, just who people thought was the better of the 2.

agreed, pat is one of the ubermappers, but peoples trust in the clinic is not very good for various reasons, maybe you could invite pat around for a few beers (i do believe he likes a curry as well lol) and get him without the use of the "clinic" ?
