Thank you from all the little children that will now be able to banish understeer from their lives & replace it with the joy of hardcore oversteer.

Seriously THANK YOU VERY MUCH, James; John; Guv, Alan & Janine
1.30pm, Id been at it for over 30 mins & undone half of one nut Ok no one told me I needed 4 pairs of hands to do the job!!!

Then turned up James (Madisonmonkey) who I thought would be pulling out the SLR camera to capture me in all my glory: full blue boiler suite; wooly hat; greasy hands & face & not a bolt undone!!! But instead he pulled out a full toolkit (ps not his tool....though I did get a bit worried when he asked John to grease him up before fiiting the ARB!) & got straight under the car. (though he did have a quick laugh first ) 10m mins later one side all done. Then John turned up & the two of them were talking 9/16 th spanner bits & extensions etc etc language. While I tried to make myself look useful they had taken off the old ARB & were putting the new one on!!! Even when we had a slight hiccupp with a dodgy poor quality bolt (cough..cough.. ), we nipped round to Johns house & he had a fully tooled garage & in no time they fitted a new bolt/nut. 10 mins later job done.

After 30 mins pi$$ing about with one bolt in the cold wet weather I was ready to give up before this lot turned up. Who gave up their Sat afternoon to lend a hand, making the job look easy & having a laugh & a chat over a couple of beers. Group hug!!!

A little while later Guv; Alan & Janine pulled up onto the drive ready to lend a hand & expertise & they travelled from Houslow/Hayes! We rounded up a great afternoon with a trip down to the BattleAxes, Aldenham for drinks & the usual Suabru/MSOC banter amongst friends

If Carlsberg did Car Clubs they'd do it like this,...MSOC.
Big thanks to all....ps any of you guys need a room or help with your accounts!!

As long as we don't let Ricky try and fit it un-supervised, I reckon he could snap the clips off the airbox if we left him to it

Sorry Ricky, couldn't resist

Little update. (excited fool!)

The 3" De-cat downpipe mated to my existing 2.5" system idea has been ditched. In favour of a straight through De-cat Hayward & Scott system with the angled jap style backbox for the least restrictive route. Hopefully should have this delivered by end of week
Iv fitted the K&N filter already & now just need to get together the 3 port solenoid & actuator.......................................... .................................................. ...........................................Then Im off to Powerstation for my orgasmic, super duper, flame spitting, over run popping, decat polloution spewing.......REMAP!!!!!!!

For the exhaust system & 3 port solenoid, Il use Slowboy Racing to fit. (though leave it running in 2 port mode until remap). Very soon after that Il go to Powerstation who will supply & fit actuator & do remap. I want to start using Slowboy as they are not too far & they can do my MOT in the future...

ps I like the way you say "the rest is fairly easy"!!

Slowboy is a hell of a trek through town

AA maps quote over an hour from us to get there and it's only 20ish miles.

First quick thanks to Alan for MOT & James for sorting out wheel hub stag nut today

Quick update, mods for 2009/10

Happy with power at the moment of approx 345bhp/400ft/lb torque & on that front no other power mods are planned. (for the time being!)

-Improve airflow to Hyperflow topmount with bigger rubber surround for scoop under bonnet air intake.

-Change backbox to quieter/track friendly Miltek one.

-The newly developed knocking sound on rear passenger side seems to be a deteriorating rear shock. Could get a used/reconed one for approx £50 to £80, but may bite the bullet & go for some BC Coilovers instead

-Whiteline/Perrin Subframe lockdown & diff lockdown kit too.

-Only unexcpected thing to do could be an uprated clutch. Though the std Subaru clutch should last approx 50k miles plus I think mine will soon be on its way out after only 12k I dont think it was made to handle higher torque.

-Eventually when std discs wear out, will go for Performance Friction disks or maybe another brand?

All that lot will cost a bit of wonga, hence you'l see no garnishings (as Guv likes to call it!) on that list & e.g 18" wheels / body work bits / carbon bits / flocked dashes / double din stereo with dvd screen & sat nav & 6x9 rear shelf speakers/ Ks3 knock analyser / etc etc all mods I would love to do Maybe that lot can get on my 2010/11 mods list hey!

ps & when all that lots done then comes "Mods to do in 2011/12.....far more interesting......Turbo mods
I dont think this thread will ever die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
