Just quicker spool up from the bigger turbos. Also with the shorter exit for the gasses from the turbo speeds things up a bit too. Plus it will look fecking hardcore!! LOL
I think mine will be the smallest front mount turbo judging by current cars and ones that I know are planned. 550-600bhp has always been my aim I want it to spool quickly too. So with a GT35R with 0.63 housing, 2.5 engine and worked AVCS heads on a classic it should be quite lairy

Full back breaking day on it today. Apart from the rear anti roll bar and brake lines (which will be taken off tomorrow) the underneath of the car is now completely bare.
Tomorrow, I'll prep the wheel arch areas with a drill and wire bit attachment, etch prime and then apply the the final coat of stonechip paint.
By the end of play tomorrow I hope to have the whole of the outside floor pan in final 2k topcoat.
Here's a few pictures of todays progress.

John because the car is a jap import there was no underseal whatsoever. Most of the underside was just primer. Considering the car has been over here for a good few years it was incredibly clean underneath. A few areas were caked up with mud but these were sorted with a stiff brush.
I would imagine that a UK car would be a different story entirely.

Yea, I'm looking at either doing the same as you or possibly re-shelling mine into a clean Type R. There are a few bits of corrosion on the exhaust hangers that I can see, but I suspect there is more lurking under there
Top work by the way

yes mate Newage AVCS heads, still debating whether to go for Cosworth Inlet manifold or not.
The rails I sourced on ebay after AndyF approved of some that he saw on a couple of cars he's mapped.
22B Bulletin Board: What Billet fuel rail to go for
I think they were £70 including posting don't know what custom charges are yet will do when i pick them up.
