Daz it only looks like its crushed the front pillar with possible front end damage? I would still say that would be a cat C as I have seen worse be a cat C.

**** bags!!!

Only just seen this!

Obviously, main thing is, you're still with us. And none the worse for your ordeal (apart form being shaken and seriously hacked off , no doubt).

It was obviously never meant to be; you and this car. Far, far too much bad luck.

Out of the ashes, er, of the ashes lol, a 2nd Phoenix will arise though....

A deer ran out in front of my mate's car (jumped the bonnet I think! ), and the car ended up literally spinning on its roof!!!

Sorry to hear mate

I would think about not going through insurance depending upon what they will value the car at. By the time you pay the excess & pay higher premiums for the next 5 years due to a write off, it may not be worth making a claim, -especially if it is a Cat B.

Also as you are a dab hand with all this stuff, you could probably pick up a 4 door Sti or similar shell very cheap & do the work yourself?

I don't want a four door. If I do build another it will be a 2 door with either abw arches or a 22b kit

If you got a 4 door you could spend the spare cash on driving lessons

Damn! A post nackered, B post kinked as with the the C post. Defo won't be a Cat C i'm afraid. Just gotta try and get it back from insurers presuming you haven't already.

Did you suffer from any whiplash or back pain after Daz? Lucky escape and glad you're ok

Default Legend

Just read your thread start to finish and have been left feeling sick. God knows how you feel have faith however you have completed a build that made the front cover of a respected tuner magazine set a 10 second 1/4 mile time and got to enjoy 600 bhp, all by the skill of your own hand. The detailed build will be a technical reference and inspiration for all of us for years to come you sir are a legend and will rise again! Someone who has this level of dedication to do things right will only be set back not defeated. Anyway you know you wanted to do a 22b look anyway chin up chill out for a bit and start again once you've tasted 600bhp you won't be able to give it up.

New Carbon roof drivers t side, tug here tug there, that could easy be brought back too look like it did before, seen worse repaired. surely some one on here could do the jigging it wouldn't cost that much if you was to do the rest ya self,
Would be a shame for it to be on a cat list
