not much done, as not much left to do but went to maplins t'other day for some ALS/LC switches, came away £15 notes lighter, 4 switches, some LEDS and a box of jubys. on the way home, had a stroke of genius...4 maps...4 positions on a now redundant switch i already had and 4 LEDS to indicate each one annnnnd its factory look
so thats the next little thing to do, also working on stealth security options which im not revealing for obvious reasons but i think once complete and along with everything else i have in mind...the car will be pretty much un stealable even with the keys...unless you have a crane.
Off to go look for a golf tdi runabout in and to start my new insurance policy with moley @ KM...

Loving the AVCR Mount and use of the headlamp switch..
Have you got a use for the 'bright' switch...... although I think that is on UK only (I know I haven't got one - felt shortchanged ).
Happy one year anniversay on the thread

Local guy who runs MND motorsport, as hes literally 10mins away. After that, hopefully il have learnt to do it myself as il be purchasing the software for my ecu. and will have had all winter to do my homework and get some detcans.
So anyway next thing was to get an air filter sorted so i could start it and check everything was running and regulate the fuel pressure down..so off i went and ordered a nice hose i thought, with some bungs for the inlet tract...ok..lets av them on i said..forgetting the standard hose goes from 76mm to 80mm at the maf side...guess what!
doesnt fit the fookin maf
so sometimes standard is better...*sigh*
it will do for a few mins while things get checked over...going to have to work on that cold air intake sooner then i thought afterall..maybe still be able to use the inlet hose i duno..
heres the lovely ally bungs that actually fitted anyhow
if anyone wants some bungs for an inlet tract...well viper performance sell them! in my rage i also chopped the stupidly long coolant hoses too, much tidier now as you can see.
sometimes youve just got to laugh.

Well im not gonna lie, iv just been mincing about since last update but iv bought a couple more bits...im trying to save for coilovers ATM, both the scoob and the golf.
Heres the gee-olf after 10 hours washing, claying & machine polishing
Yesterday i had rob ryan c/o Arch Enemy.co.uk come roll my arches back for clearance of 18x8's or maybe wider, didnt think the fronts needed it so if they do he will be coming back again lol
Rolly and slight pull...atleast 10mm more clearance there now.
Momo Team + Boss...need to order d1 QR boss now. didnt think i would notice the difference between 280mm and 300mm so went 300mm to be safe and well its PERFECT
And this arrived today, Cheers Carl Davey!
*goes in seach of coilover suspension..*

the 2 boss setup does bring things closer but, i kinda feels better! not sure what i have to do with the black thing that came from behind the original wheel - if anyone can shed light there - much appreciated!

And my early xmas pressie, BC BR's avec 6/5 springs
Cheers mr_flipstone for them! got my name down for an alloy pitch mount and new drop links for the alloy arms from CDF.
Now gonna clean and paint my under arch's silver, polybush f**k outta everything, fit my alloy arms with an ALK & Roll centre kit from whiteline. Uprate the mounts for the rear rollbar and errr maybe a cage? then errr, il post it all up in here with pics.
