Coming along very nice!
One touch I am especially liking....the black headlining, was it easy to remove, and if you dont mind me asking, how much was it to have it re-trimmed?

errrrm, fairly easy to remove it just means unclipping all the trim inside around it, and its very awkward to get it out of the car too!
you need some material roughly 2m long by 1.5m wide and some really good spray glue, a stanley and about 30mins of your time. as i did it myself, it cost approx £20 but i bought enough material to do my door cards also.

Could you let us know where you got the material from Jon?
Re; the blue silicone hose, it's not coming off that I don't trust, it's the way they can tend to get squashed or expand when warm very easily.

LOL
i could ask you the same question!
Roof liner to put back in. My clutch should be arriving today () need some fancy bungs like yours for my inlet tract (still awaiting reply from viper performance) need to put the air filter on OR make a CAI (QUICK) and im still awaiting a call from the guy @ simtek to tell me whats what with this ecu so i can get it in...been waiting since the start of august have chased him 4 times.
Then theres the whole situation of - getting a base map on before the MOT, which cant be done on the road clearly () then getting an MOT, then taxing it. I am NOT looking forward to that but of course thats all going well, it may not start or something. Insurance is looking like £2000 all mods declared although im hoping moley can beat that..
Im also on the lookout for some coilovers. so il have a mega classic spring & shock setup for sale.
*sigh* i sometimes wonder what i have done!

and it would be a reasonable question Getting my speedo converter fitted tonight and then its back on its wheels
get some pics up of that lining...bet it looks good. Who is going to map your car, get them to chase the Steve at Simtek...more likely to speak to them perhaps
£2k mine's insured (well not at the mo ), with Gary and all mods declared; £400 but I am old...if anyone can help you Gary can.
leave your suspension and get out and drive it, 2 years is a long enough break i reckon

nothing exciting here
Just imagine for a sec the bonnet & everything else is silver as in its painted, ignore the cardboard on the interwarmer, should i leave the grill black with the splitter - thats staying black anyway? or paint them both the same black??? or should the grill go silver too?
time to mail simtek again..

eeee its alright looks good, better then grey but it aint perfect but, i arnt a pro trimmer
yes would like the swirl pot done before the sprint next season, can stay as is now for mapping / MOT as id want it done ready to run by Jan, then can do a suspension swap over winter, swirl pot, cage, buckets + harness's
wont be going any faster or insuring anything bigger/better with performance per £ at 22 so pretty much gonna keep this until im 25 so plenty in the pipeline...could turn into one of the best classics SN has seen...maybe.
