Clive, now that your mapped for flat shifts, is it fixed, or do you have a manual over ride switch?

Also when mapped for flat shifting how does the car react if you changed gear normally? or not much difference ?

MH...i thought you had a .64exh?

But anyways good power and 10 should really be on the cards now with all the extra bits you have done on you car.

Torque seems low tho

Compared to this

Re: Locomotive Torque question

On a 4400 HP locomotive, as an example, the torque would be about 25,700 ft-lb.

not really, just better boost control, and more consistent, there's a lot going on there between and during runs as you look at ambient conditions, engine bay temperature and corrections from the ECU.

Is that just the characteristics of a 2.3L build?

I thought SteveBt had more torque in his 2.5L build.

Here's the graph -

And a graph showing how it compares to the old Power FC set up

Look at the comparison graph in more detail guys. Look at the spread of torque and power compared to the old set up. Night and day imo. Certainly feels it to drive also

IIRC. Keep your foot on the accelerator while changing gear and the ecu does some trick stuff in the background to cut fuel and match revs.
