They were giving out awards for fastest subaru etc.

Clive I also believe we've had this conversation in person

Strange fella!!
You must mean me and my wife Rosy as we were at Silverstone. Sorry if we offended anyone, as we are normally very friendly and will take the time to talk to everyone. I don't think we would be deliberatly rude to anyone so I apologise if we were. Just to clear up a couple of points, we do not run SIDC we are ordinary members who happened to be there on the day to support the club as well as RCMS. The people who do run the club asked us if we would present the trophys on their behalf and as we are good friends with Matt and Olly Clark we were very happy to do so. We do not represent SIDC except as any member of a club would, and we are not part of RCMS except by the fact we have our WR1 looked after by them and we are good friends with them. If I appeared to be unwilling to talk then this is a first, as anyone who knows me will tell you that I usually can talk the hind legs off a donkey. So again sorry if we appeared rude because that is not lke us at all.

If I were to use an octane boost from a general petrol garage when I fill up with V Power would a re map be necessary or not ?

Appreciate that fella thankyou. We were stood at Copse just infront of you watching the final. I thought Zen had the win in the bag at Silverstone and after the final I turned round to you and said I'd thought they'd nicked the win as the car seemed to be much more planted through there than the Gobstopper did. You just completely ignored us a couple of times.

No harm done, I'm sure it was because you didn't know me from Adam

What do you reckon on this "Quarter Mile Calculator" fellas.

Just fill in the boxes BHP & Car weight (with driver) then hit calculate.

quarter mile time Calculator 1/4 mile from weight and bhp

No remap - I often do it on hot days, track days, etc as extra insurance.

NF Race-the black bottle - is the best, as sold by RCM, amongst others...120ml per tank , more if you want (Half a bottle per tank on track days) as you can't really put too much in

You don't need to - as you've been told in the other thread.

I ran a 5 speed dccd diff that had been hammered in a 500bhp+ car on track and drag and it was absolutely fine, Now run a 6 speed dccd in my P1 but only run 440bhp currently however as I know that it can handle big figures I was future proofing my car against further project creep

I have got the Bio bit and other bits going on shortly. Just need to arrange with Olly & Matt.
I was talking to MC & DR at Brands about it.

Having a twin map (for Bio)
Air Con is coming out.
Carbon Prop going on.
L.C. activated.

Should make a difference
