Sounds like SIDC, I went to perterbough jap show with my lass and my daughter and we went up to talk to the people from SIDC as I used to post on there a lot. After 5 minutes of wandering around my lass wanted to leave as she felt uncomfortable around people who had no intention of speaking?

I had a similar experience whilst spectating at Silverstone TA.

Was stood at Copse watching the final trying to strike up a converstion with a couple of people who were stood near us one of which I recognised from RCMS photo of the Gobstopper build. They were just plain fecking rude to the girlfriend and I. Wasn't until the award ceremony I found out who it was. Only the couple that actually run SIDC. They were giving out awards for fastest subaru etc.

Clive I also believe we've had this conversation in person

Strange fella!!

Strange fella!!

It's the same at most shows / events that involve the SIDC Daz. I am not sure what it is but it becomes very evident that they ignore people even when they know you have a car involved.

I feel sorry for many new members too. They get there first Impreza then join the SIDC (or a club within the SIDC), then basically get ignored!! and it's this reason that many filter away.

The very first meet I attended with my P1 I was totally ignored. If it wasn't for Eureka coming up to me and striking up a conversation I would have left there & then, & never returned.

Seen the 'just make sure the first and last letter of a word are correct' thing before - strange, but true!

Is the second story true, Skull? Are you joining the queue for hell as I type this?

No mate. Reg 6 speed.

As for strength, I heard from a good source that the Zen TA car uses one very similar.
