[QUOTE=Mad Hammer;8764705]Couple of vids from Friday at the pod for you all, 2 x Sy doing sub 11's and 1 of our first ever race that I won ! Well only cause Sy had a problem. Did not get our fastest runs of the day as Sy's helper missed them but Sy did a 10.8 I think and I got my new PB of 11.03
I may see about picking my car up so I can come to the pod on the 4th. Stuck on a train now with 2 changes and 5 hours to get home
hopefully when I pick it up the power begins with a 6

I'll try but I'm at york raceway on the 5th for an evo vs scooby day. So either way I will have a time. Also getting rid of my quick shift in the hope of stopping all the missed gears?

Went to Shakespeare at the weekend and managed a 11.111 @ 127mph running 450bhp so you should walk into the 10's with your power.
Here is one of my runs from the weekend, excuse the mother in law, she gets a bit excited, lol.

I think one of my issues is weight, was running full tank on my last visit to the pod to allow plenty of runs, plus I have a cage in there and my weight of 110kgs.
My car weight with 1/4 tank at the MLR 30-130 with me sat in it was 1407kgs ! Well that's my excuses over
Madhammer : that is just what I was thinking, re Martyn's time.
Very impressive !
(Not fat), but four ton, nine foot high and wearing size 57 shoes and Clive decides to start drag racing lmao....
It's a shame your so big mate, you have got to be personally responsible for at least one second.

Thanks for the compliments guys, will be looking forward to getting out in it after the next round of mods. Should be 70bhp up next time round, so hopefully the 10 with full trim is coming. After that I will start the diet with seats and carpets etc.
That 10 is definately coming for you Clive, just keep at it.
Skull, this drag racing lark is harder than people think isn't it, you have a great car there m8, just practice and the times will fall.

Thanks for that Martyn. Your right, need to practice lots.
At the moment my runs would be best timed using a friggen calender.
I realise that there is a quick time in the car, I just got to get the launch sorted.
Some guy on 22B watched a video of my hugely bad run and said that "the car looked sluggish, (ignoring the start)" .
I do hope I meet him somewhere one day. He can occupy the passenger seat for 10 minutes and still see if he thinks it's sluggish
Madhammer, you know I am only joking matey
