I have just returned from giving the beast the first boot full since Dave Rowe tweaked the Motec and it's really evident that it is quicker than what it was !
Respect has jumped into the game now. It loses traction easier.

While Dave Rowe (Motec mapper) was mapping my car last week he told me that he had recently worked with a Top Fuel drag racing team.

Whilst mapping the race car it was using 26 Ltrs of Nitromethane per 60 seconds !!.

I dont know how much Nitromethane is now, but about 6 yrs ago is was in the region of £ 54:00 a gallon.

You may take the power crown but you need to get yourself back down the pod to prove how quick it is

Been down today and done 10 runs under 11.3, three 11.1's and two 11.0's in that lot too. New PB of 11.03 @ 129mph! That damn 10 is still not there though (note to self though, don't fill the tank before going!)

Next run out 4th July if anyone fancies a race
