Corsa I think Fai.

You can just see that picture blown up and framed in a nice chrome surround hanging in reception of Mclaren Group HQ

What would be funnier is seeing Matt or Olly's face if a new mechanic had done that !

Just returned from Santapod with Sy.

His car is awesome. He ran a 10:63 today after a little tweak or two.
Apart from a couple of Super Comps he made the rest look a little silly.

Was running NO2 and ALS. Not sure what the power delivery was but on a dyno it was reading 600 ft/lb.

Nice day Sy. Thanks matey

He is a video of the last two runs I did at the pod yesterday. It was a good day - dry, cool and not many people there, so got some set up time

The first run in the vid - I aborted halfway down as third dint go in properly - when I got back around to the start - there was a Skyline GTS waiting back from the start (on the left) - for someone to race - I guess he got his wish

Sorry about the poor quality - its a cheap chinese multi camera set up i bought on ebay, and the cameras need focusing/cleaning and I was concentrating on the car set up.

Im not sure if the sound works, or all youll get is interferance.

Nice Sy, I see on the second 2 vids you moved your internal camera so we can't see the speed of those gear changes

What were your other times yesterday ? Many others in the 10's ?

Hi Clive (Mad),

Started the day at 13s, kept dialing it in - try different things, got about 5 very low 11s , then 10.9, 10.8 , 10.6 - a bit down on power at top end thou- should be rectified in the next few weeks.

Sy, you were correct mate, your car ran 2 tenths faster than a Bugatti Veyron over the quarter mile.

How much were they ? £ 800K

That's a complete joke. I have seen many in the flesh over the years at The Goodwood Festival of speed and they are ok, but there are better lookers out there, and faster ones over the quarter

Talking of The Festival of Speed at Goodwood, those of you who have not attended that event ? your missing a fantastic time.
That must be now rated as one of the best car shows on the planet.

Some of us had the chance to have our cars on the scoob section last year. £ 500:00 for the weekend I believe !! plus hotel & travel. We gave that a miss.

I would hate to think how much that show costs.
