Project P1 600bhp +
Hi Clive,
I've been to RCMS today to pick some bits up. Saw your car too. I have to say that is one of, if not the, nicest P1's I've seen to date.
Will be a stunning car when finished

RCM have jet washed it for me. You would not have said that if you saw the poor old girl when I dropped er off, bless it.
As you mentioned, it should be a right babe when finished. It does come up lovely when I spend a full day on it. Engine bay takes a fair bit of work to keep like that though.
Not uncommon to see me on engine at midnight. Busy life
More bits for your car mate ?

From: S E London........ 555 Wagon Sqn
Dont have the "quickest" wagon anymore, that goes to Morbs, just twigged i have the most powerfull that i know of, but then the last time i did a quarter, i did a 11.03 running full road trim, including spare wheel, thats was with about 550bhp back in May 2007. I just got sick of breaking uprated gearboxes (5 in one year!)
How about TAPS (Totally Addicted to Powerful Scoobs)
Steven
ps Clive, i post as Steven on 22B, and my spec in my profile on here is somewhat out of date

Not in it this year, too much to do with my business, and too much to do to the car to make it more competitive. Didnt do too bad, finishing 8th overall in Club, and 3rd fastest Subaru begind Kev Horsely and Sam Kerr. Only managed to crash it once too
Oops, i got it wrong YouTube - Time Attack - Brands 2008 Warm Up & Crash
A little better YouTube - Time Attack - Brands 2008 Superbattle part 2
Not quite Olly style or speed

Idea is knock a load of weight off the car, which weighed 1400kg with me in it as it finished TA2008, and also increase the power to 650~700 and improve power delivery, together with a change in appearance, and other improvements like dry sump etc.

P20 how many divisions in TA, is it three?, and would a budget of say £20K cover a season inclusive of all expenditure? (trouble free relating to shunts etc).

Julian D is running 500+ at the wheels. Most of his work has been done by TDI Ltd at Thurrock. He was talking about doing time attack before the down turn.
Deani age should also be up there soon once he get things sorted.
Clive, yes there are three divisions this year. Cost wise, assuming you have all the racewear, and saftey things in the car, then you are realistically looking at about £1000 per round imo after entry fees and excluding any issues.
2007 cost me £16000+ due to problems!
2008 cost about £6000 plus another £3-£4k on safety improvements and tweaks during the year to cure chasis issues.
