That's just about it Baly
If I were to opt for a normal NO2 system Olly said I would need to be brave regarding head gasket failure. I said "any options?", Olly said "yes, the Gas O Ring system". They have exactly the same system on the current Gobstopper.
The Gobstopper runs at 725bhp & 850 on NO2, so it delivers plenty.
Matt & Dave Rowe (Motec) just need to find the best way through the M800.

and Four of theses
Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail
Used on WRC cars to prevent head gasket failure - as far as I know only avaliable on 2.0 ltr hence why gobstopper is only 2.0 ltr as you need waterway gaskets Roger Clark Motorsport - RCM Product Detail (I have heard a wisper that its now avaliable for 2.35s and 2.5s from a certain tuner - but yet to see it)
Gobstopper hasnt had Head Gasket problems (according to Matt, so it must work)

Would "that" other tuner be the same one that is toying with a new dry sump system?
#605
All very cryptic I am sure Clive.
Zen Performance will have a dry sump system available to buy in about 16 weeks, all being well you will be able to purchase through all the leading tuners, including RCMS, who have considerable experience with the correct installation of such a system. But alas, no altenative headgasket solutions for big motors from Zen any time soon.

I understand a similar system is used in F1 racing. It's basically as near as you will get to tougher than tough block or or bulletproof.

I have got an excel sheet somewhere that works it out, but I think it's in work - I'll have a look tomorrow. Ended up with a short close ratio box, but 170+ will be fine for most tracks as I'm more of a roundy round than a straight line chap.
Had 185+ and still climbing out of a porker 911 turbo S a few years back at Brunters before throwing the anchor out of the back window

Found this on MLR.

If you click on each car, you can compare power and weight to our cars to see what 30-130 times to expect. I rekon if I do less than 12 ill be happy.
Are we going up in convy?

Yes I know, but I'll suck up as much as it takes to get in the passenger seat when it's pumping out 720 bhp.

I was reading one of these the other night Sy. There was a 6 second time on the one I was reading!.
I assume that yours will be quicker than 12 mate. More like 9's if you will be running around 600 at the time ?
You taking yours up on a trailer I take it ?

Hi Steve,
I think that there will be one thing that cost me 4 seconds thou - my brain - two things are in my minds at the moment:
1.last week my front wheel bearing colapsed
2. At 180 yr doing a mile in 20 seconds!!!!
(assuming you run on to a top speed run)

May have been flawed ?
I would be buying some new ones if I were you mate.
Crashing at 180mph would be bad for ya heart, not to mention the thunderous activity from ya sphincter !

Regarding the 30 - 130 day I will use that opportunity to find out my top end speed.
Do you think it will be off the clock with a 6 speed ?
Just hope it all stays together.

Hammer: I was having a bit of trouble with our on-going PM. Not sure if your received my last...so... Matt C set my Turbo Boost at 1.85 until the trans is stronger. Will be setting it at 2.0 bar when done.

Sy will be alright withn his Mocal electronic dash - I just hope the needle doesn't snap off on ours if it goes too far... I had it quite a long way off the clock when it was 330bhp and a 5 speed, and, on a private road, have had it off the clock in very short order with the current engine for short bursts

It will be well off the clock,Clive, depending on what rev limit you're working to. If Mad Hammers speeds are right then it's faster than i thought too.
