AET are developing their range of GT30 bolt on hybrids. Testing that I have completed so far has been really good. I am just about to test another version, but have already acheived 530/550 on pump fuel on a 2.5 (Cossie Engine).

More information will be available on ScoobyNet once this turbo has been tested and we have ran the car down the 1/4m. We are hoping this turbo will be the one to get the times sought after.

Shaun,

Out of curiosity, what time are you looking for, that can't be achieved on 530bhp/550ftlbs ?

Mark,
I'm looking at more power than that in reality. My time target with the new turbo on race fuel (so more power, but hoping for new to 500bhp at the hubs), based on testing already done on a similar spec turbo and car, I aim to get in the 10's for the 1/4m. Time will tell, but we know it is achievable with this kind of spec on a GT30 core turbo in standard position on a Newage. I really want to get this Cosworth engine working harder....... it's only being tickled at the moment.

Time will tell, and we will see what happens.

It's a full road trim Spec C, with stereo, speakers and sub (it was stripped out previously).

How many Newage fully road trimmed cars do you know (with the 6sp box) in the 10's on a standard position turbo..... it can not be taken for granted. As I said, we will have to wait and see.

Steve,
That may have to be an option!

The redline on mine is set at 7500 but cams and head work like on the cossie heads will give a useable limit but nowhere near 75000 though

mus 1st class sti type r,
Why is that then?? The rev limit on my Cosworth engine is set to 8200rpm and is used. As per what Dynamix is saying..... not all 2.5 valvetrains are the same.

I have been trying to find the dyno graph of the old turbo Shaun - can you post it up to save me trawling through all of the threads on the car ?

Be good to get a semi-side by side.

Am I reading the graph correctly, 360bhp at the wheels gives 530bhp flywheel ?

You should go to mark at lateral.

He does a good range of internally gated gt30 hybrids that will get you in the 10s

I have just checked an old scoobyclinic graph for my car and at 386whp it only made 488bhp. I think I need my car on some of these other magic rollers
