Damn volvo's I doubt it would have any effect on the paintwork anyway are they not teflon coated, bullet proof, etc
What you need to do is next time she washes her mini take it out to the muddiest field / location you can find and get it really dirty straight away, reverse psychology lol.

Problem is that we live on a farm so it's always very muddy round here!
