The old model is superior from a technical point of view; the latest model looks quite nice...
Id imagine that the vehicles dynamics arent that important to you: do you want to know about tasteless fibreglass bodykits and such?

I bought a CTR following the scoob. I dropped on what I thought was a fantastic looking example, 2 years old, 2200 miles (honestly), had had 2 services and was showroom condition.
12 months and 10000 miles later, the front suspension had been completely replaced, steering rack replaced, rear wheel bearing changed, new fuel pump and the passenger door wouldn't shut properly due to it dropping on the hinges.
Suffice, I got rid just before the warranty ran out.
I'm not saying that they're all like this as horror stories are rare, but mine wasn't up to standard.
Excellent engine and gearbox though. Go very well, sounds very well and handle very well.
It's put me off Honda though.

Did 40 odd thousand miles in my (well co car) old MY02 CTR, most of which was at WOT!
Very good car, not much in the way of creature comforts (even A/C is an option) but as far as dynamics goes, very very good.
Engine is a peach, got to grab it by the scruff of its neck though - but it loves it and comes back for more. Gearbox is nice too.
At the time I was doing a lot of B road driving and it was ideal for me, quick, fairly comfortable and planted. I used to do a run a few times a week from Manchester to Nottingham over the dales, 6am start, roads were empty.
I had 3 full sets of tyres in 40k miles
