Wouldn't buy any parts off eBay again, been sold 2 items advertised different to what I received. So many sellers haven't a clue to what there really selling, eBay themselves aren't much help either.

Totally true bluerigster. My mate got duped by someone selling 550cc Nismo injectors that even came in the original 550cc Nismo boxes with the right code - turned out to be stock 440cc out of an STI packed up in Nismo boxes! He couldn't tell from the pic as they're both yellow anyway.

I bought some ghd hair straightners for my girlfriend as a christmas present off ebay that turned out to be fake! They wernt cheap, over £100 Turns out the guy had sold loads of pairs of them so i got the police and trading standards involved anyway to cut a long story short i did get my money back so a result! The point of this story is that i reported the guy to fleabay and they did nothing about it so he kept on selling them till the police raided his flat a couple of weeks later.

I'm an ebay pro and i can help, but first i need to no,
1 how do you no they not sti heads
2 how did you pay and how long ago did you pay
3 thats all i need to no, if i think you have been ripped off i will tell you how to get his account bloked thats ebay and paypal, and all money in his paypal will also be looked for 180 days. Thats not good say if you got some redies in there, that you carnt get.
And depending on how long ago you paid for the items i can tell you how to get every penny back within 7 days.

Now send the above, or link him again to this page if you dont get your money PM as time is running out.

Now i find out his been a right tos**%$ to a fellow scooby member! Looks like appearances can be deceptive , i suggest you pay him a visit . i dont think that was the address he gave me if i recall corectly, will look through my ebay mesages, get back to you all

his home address is infact 95 Fourth Avenue ,B9 5RG.Guess This explains the 07 plate Sti parked outside his house lol. Mind you i have checked his reputation on ebay and it doesnt look like his a scam artist. That aside im happy with my bottom end block, thinking of having it rebored to a 2.2

I have only just found this thread!! This bloke fleeced me for wrx heads instead of STI heads as I got these off him mid - july and still haven't left feedback. Does anyone know if theres a time limit on paypal for getting your lolly back!?Or maybe asking for the difference in money back? What will a set of WRX heads go for?

Manic...well done for the addy!

hey tucker sorry to hear about that, a set of WRX heads will set you aprox £150- 250 ( depending on mileage) ,it varies although this is the ballpark. A set of standard STi v2/V3 usually go for around £350- 500 the new ones that support AVCS substantially more. what did you pay for these? And im sure paypal have a 90 day time limit to claim.

I did ask him if they were deffo STI heads and he told me they were! I only paid £250 for the pair and since seeing STI's on here going for about £350 +, I dont really feel that bad about it! The heads I did buy are now on my car and work okay, so all is not bad. Good luck with your bottom end build!

Hope the OP gets his cash back.... Well done for persuing too!

hey guys sorry i havent been on here for a while so just catching up, got nowhere on getting money back. sols said that the guy if he turned up to court would simply say that the heads are not the heads he supplied as they were not marked so i have well and truely been scammed.

doing an engineering course at the min so the heads are going to be ported and polished by myself and my tutor and repaired and used on my project.

Unlucky mate, I think this needs to go into the general section to try and prevent others from suffering the same fate

thanx tucker doesnt seem like you've been ripped off although he should have stated that they were wrx , iv read the other posts and it seems like this bloke states sti if the heads are removed from an Sti and vice versa what he and most other sellers dont realise is that an sti engine does not always correlate to sti heads, especially in the older models. whataz you shoudnt despair too much as i dont think you actually got scammed either if you purchased them at that same price. i paid £185 for my closed block , haggled me way down from £220 i'v got a mate whos also thinking of buying one off him!
