We won the last round of the European Drift Championship with our Skyline, equipped with Apex Gen 2 coilovers. It was fitted with a small block Chevy V8 at the beginning of the year and as such failed to compete in two rounds due to teething issues. Its run 4 of the 6 rounds and has come:
1st round Silverstone - DNF
2nd round Knockhill - 1st
3rd round Silverstone - DNF
4th round Santa Pod - 3rd
5th round - Silverstone - 1st
6th round - Poznan (Poland) 1st
2nd overall in the championship.
Not bad for just our second year of competition with this team

They come with front and rear camber adjustable top mounts
No defo date as yet, just mid October.
Im not an expert on drag racing but Id expect youll need relatively soft compression on the rear to allow the car to squat and then stiffer rebound to keep the tyres planted as you accelerate. Not sure about the front, soft rebound to allow quicker weight transfer to the rear maybe?
Im guessing, drag racing isnt my bag.
You will know better than I do, you tell me what you want and Ill do my best to supply something that fits your needs

Ann had a Impreza coilover customer phone yesterday, Im assuming GC8 as hed just recieved them. He phoned to say that hed just recieved them, fitted them to his car and that he thinks theyre amazing and an excellent piece of kit. He was very impressed and said he was going to recommend them to all of his friends and thanked us for the fast service.
Thats all he phoned for, to say how happy he was
Please note that we can supply these coilovers for a huge range of vehicles, not just Imprezas so if any of your mates do want some then supply most probably isnt an issue

Just called and they confirmed no GDB stock at the mo....
Next shipment is hopefully end of October or first week November so not too long.... Might be worth placing an order sooner rather than later tho to avoid this happening again....

I have another 96 sets of coilovers on order including 15 sets of GDB (2000-2007 excluding 05+ STi) and 4 sets of 2008 kits.
If theres interest in extending the offer then Ill do so and will increase the order quantity as theyre selling well.
I am, however, going to have to put the group buy price up.
Before you get out the flaming torches and pitchforks please bear in mind that Ive been throwing rear adjuster extenders AND rear camber adjustable top mounts into the kits for a while, both of which cost money. Not only that but the exchange rate has dropped from $2 the the £ to just 1.7. That put my buy price up by 17% This can be absorbed with retail prices but Im already giving 25% discount and that with the freebies is pushing the deal over the edge for us.
Historic exchange rate for UK £ vs US $
I just cant keep the price at £486, theres not sufficient margin left at that price. I can, however, do them for £549 if thats of interest? Still a bargain.
If anyones interested then let me know and Ill increase the current order size. If not then no problem, theyre selling well at retail anyway and due to some sexy new stuff going on with Apex and some of its manufacturers we really shouldnt be discounting the BC brand anymore

i'm still interested in a set for mine(2004 sti).i just need to know what the ride height is like.mine's got prodrive spings on at the moment which are 20mm lower than standard sti's.i don't really want to go much lower than that for all the speed bumps we have around these parts.will these kits give a similar ride height? if so then you can put my name down for a set.
also, what spring rate would you recommend for road use on a new-age sti,5k/4k?

Ok guys, I think Ive sorted it to get a batch of upto 10 GDB/05+ STI kits here next week. Theyll fit either as its only the front bottom mounts that are different so I can build either GDB or STI 05+ from the base kit.
Theyre costsing me even more money to get the order speeded up and include the extra exchange parts to ensure flexibility so are defo £549.
I will confirm delivery date tommorrow when Ive heard back from the manufacturers
£17.63, late next week hopefully.
-20mm should be absolutely fine. Id defo recommend 5/4kg.mm for your car
As above, Im hoping to have them here next week, will confirm tommorrow.
Again, see above
