Most of the weight gain and "bulk" with createin is extra water in the muscles mate (very crude description) It is good for hard gainers though, as it does promote quicker recovery post work out.
There is no magic bullet though. You want a good body, be prepared to work at it for years, simple as.

LOL, Very Subtle.
I suppose re training it depends what you want to do, lose the weight then think about beefing up, Fat doesnt turn to muscle. My dads mate is 50 and a beer monster but trains quite hard, he is quite big in terms of muscle mass but pretty fat with it due to the beer, he struggles with stairs, he is just too heavy.
Body Building isn't going a few times, buying gloves, belt, tins of weird stuff, its a way of life for these guys (not me), I was into it for while but didnt have the dedication and decided I didn't want to be a Body Builder anyway, its a whole different thing to weight training which is what most people mean, training for moderate strength and tone is distinct to training for size and power.
Swim, Cycle, Run and do some weights, I am doing the cycling and swimming but need to build up to the running.

if your going to take creatine make sure you drink alot of water, apparently there's a risk of liver or kidney damage if you don't, i wasn't drinking enough so came off it.

1. Train intensely.
2. Eat lots of decent food.
3. Take protein shakes after workouts.
4. Use a creatine supplement.
5. Don't go and get wasted on alcohol.
6. Don't do steroids.
Next?

I've heard of people taking them and being fine then others taking them and not sleeping for days, so its all down to the person.

Anyone else wonder what the motivation is to become a monster Bodybuilder, I can understand training for fitness, tone and well being but there were some proper monster in the gym I used to go to, I mean, hats off to them for the dedication and the effort they put in, some looked fantastic (in a none gay way) but others just looked stupid, huge top half, skinny legs.
I can totally see how a nice physique is great, you know, Gymnasts and other athletes and thats what women seem to go for but when people see some big monster in a baggy muscle vest walking round the shops it doesnt really look good (though its better than massive bloaters) and when women do it, jesus.
It must be impractical being that big ?

I think its to do with steroids, once you take them and start seeing yourself getting bigger and looking better it gets addictive and becomes a part of your life.

Good question. I'd actually say that my shoulder development has made it harder to get comfortable on my side in bed at night. How nuts is that? But generally you only get to a point where your body shape impedes you when you start injecting Deca or whatever. Fun to be huge when you're 25, not so fun battling all the catch-up effects when you're mid forties and onwards. Just don't do it, it really isn't worth it. And you're right about the chicken legs brigade, but i'd say 95% of all guys in the gym have under-developed legs. After all, you can cover them up with jeans of course...

Fit and toned is nice to look at and admire on anyone, male or female but I prefer the slightly rounded, lardy look on men
