The ACT 6 puck with heady duty pressure plate is currently coping with Stevebt's power, however, it is an absolute **** to drive with on a day to day basis, has an extremely stiff pedal feel to it (which was expected).
I personally prefer the twin plates or the triple plates.

Could this be a reason why Steve was finding hard on his gear changes at the Pod last weekend thus getting 12s when he should easily be in the 11s?
I think the gear changes on steves car have more to do with the B&M "quick" shift which totally screws up the feel and motion of the gear selection/change. Steve's car was surprising okay to launch when I tested the launch control after mapping, but i wouldn't want to drive the clutch every day!
Agree with Paul, the quickshift on steve's car spoils the gear changes. It is just too short for a decent "feel" of which gear you are selecting. Reverting back to OEM may be an improvement for him.
wish there was more people like you round the oxford area i would come make you tea just to have a look and learn a few things....going for a build soon as well got my six speed done so would be nice to see how it all goes for you.
well done mate all will pay off when ur flying down that road!

well i thought i would have a little go to day and managed to fit the group N spec dog bone and the clutch slave cylinder to the six speed one
also removed air con hoses and some old brackets then clean everything up which came out good
i also took fly wheel off and put new bearing in then torqued back up and then put the 6 puck disk on and pressure plate but hit a brick wall then as i can't fined the bolts to bolt it on

so will give subaru a ring in the morn to see if they have any bolts
before...

after...

I had the ACT 6 PUK (sprung centre) clutch in my old car mate, not that bad really, bit juddery pulling off but gear changes on the move are like a normal clutch.
