to be honest alot sooner than i thought but im out of work at the mow and with a new baby so it has slowed down abit now and will have to wait for some parts and use some old ones eg exhaust till i can afford new ect... hopfully fit my 6 speed box soon but want to get new mounts first for engine and box
been looking at the one's that zen sell which are the sti group n spec

Shame you're not neary by as I'm looking for someone to do my upgrades on the brakes and poss suspension.
Re the 6 speed - you going for the ones found say on the wr1s or ones in the forester which have the long gears?

my sump and baffle came today so few more pics
torqued cam sprockets to spec and added a few little bits like magnetic bolt, plus i ended up spraying a thin layer of silver which will make it more easy to see if any leaks also remembered to change o rings on pick up and sump

the six speed i have is STI V8 03-06 with matching rear diff which i was told done only 20,000 miles

These seem to be quite popular on those upgrading from 5 speed boxes. Good side is short ratios but sacrificing top end.

Chop chop then get it done in the next 2 weeks then we can pop the box in when i come home from hols.

Seem to be getting the bug for upgrading myself now.... car ready for remap which i had a good price off western performance, just ordered goodridge brake lines, gotta pick up ( i hope ) new discs from godspeed tomorrow..... avc-r was a peice of golden shower when explained to me in monkey terms got it holding at 1.1bar at the mo until remap.

All fun..

it of an update on here i am
went down the garage for an hour tonight and fitted timing belt and all new idler pulleys and new belt tensioner and went to take pics and my camera battery run out also fitted the belt covers and done something a little different and fitted my crank pulley and a few other parts my other half said i could use her cam so managed to take pics of it now everything is turning sweet hope you like

did polish the cam wheels but when it was left they started to get surface rust so painted silver instead
