done a good bit now and only waiting for a few bits and pieces and will be almost done
i also have my gearbox oil and my brake/ clutch fluid and have millers running in oil
once my other parts have arrived and a few mor bits fitted i will prime the engine oil in pump etc.. then away we go
just a pic of how it's looking at the moment

everything has to be cleaned like pipes and so on but that will be after all is fitted and then the polishing will start

hi guys
just a quick up date as things are going not so well as i have found that there is a small bit of oil being lost out of one of the seals from the gearbox where i converted it with the stub axles but it's only on the one side but need to get back under the car to check it out
i also filled the engine and rad with water and found my alloy rad that only bought last year is some how leaking
so i have ordered a new alloy rad and think that maybe i might have damaged the one oil seal when putting the stub axle in
but should not be hard to put right but will have to get under to look first
on the up side tho i have fitted my oil catch tank and filled all other oils like powersteering and engine to which i pre filled the oil fillter and primmed the oil pump by filling it slow through the oil pressure hole and turned engine by hand a little so hope this will do the trick for when i turn it over to get oil pressure up , and before people say i will have the plugs out and crank and cam sensors disconnected to turn over to get the oil pressure up
iv'e also fitted the nur spec with new power flex rubbers and made a belt tensioner for power stearing and alternater so will post sone pics asap

There are always little problems right at the end of a build like this mate, but nothing you cant sort im sure, since the whole thing is hand built and you know every nut and bolt.
You have done a stunning job, bags of respect from me Lee, cant wait to see it

Hi Lee,
Looking very busy under that bonnet mate, how are you going to deal with your engine bay temp`s with regards to the air intake for the turbo, as its set up your cold air from the intercooler is is going to rise with a alarming rate due to the air filter being open to the engine bay temps.

will also be running a mocal oil cooler which will be run of a mocal sandwich plate with stat built in that i have
this will go behind the passenger fog lamp but will fit this after the car has been run in and this will be fed air via another p1 style induction fog cover plus it will be running a reverse rcm or similar scoop/vent so should see some of the heat lost from the engine bay out of that

as it would come in handy to keep my nasty neighbors happy

To think you have done all this tucked away in your garage
So when do you think your going to turn the key on this then ?

You got the bay looking tidy, then you see a red bull cover in the corner of your eye....lol.... The avc-r's are pricey so you should get a good price for it.
What figures you going for ? need to know incase i see you out...... dont wanna look stupid.hehe.
