Beleive me when Ellie is well enough to go out she will be on a very long lead until we are far away from the road, I have always used the same park even when I had my 1st Boxer Holly she never use to do this, even chasing the ball, but thats cats and dogs for you!!!!!!!!!

Well we have just had our first walk, thought she would be nervous, Nah, not a chance, just goes to show how well they bounce back, she is now having a kip has if nothing happened!!!!!!!!!!

Im made up for your dog being ok and Im glad there's so many dog lovers on hear
you never no the minute, in the park were I go they have gates inside the park so its abit harder for her to get out but were Im from the gates are really to keep the drunken kids out

Your dog was lucky, my german shephard was hit by a train.
My old man was taking him and our other dogs for a walk in the countryside when the dogs ran onto the railway line. Didnt even hear the train coming, all he heard was the driver blast the horn.
Had to wait for all the carrages to have passed by to see my dog lying on the track!
I wont go into details about what I saw, but needles to say having to carry what was left of him back home was probably one of the worst things i've ever had to do!
