I used to run mine on Tesco 99 but from Plymouth down to Cornwall it no longer exsists.

That's good news that Tesco 99 sounds a good fuel. I must admit, one of the reasons I haven't used it before was because I thought that Tesco fuel was poor. I know they had an issue with some people saying their car's engine needed rebuilding due to poor qulaity fuel. It put me off at the time, as I used to use normal unleaded for previous cars. I will continue using Tesco 99 though as it sounds very good

Tescos did have a problem last year with contamination of the fuel (not the actual fuel itself) the main complaint was oxygen sensors failing iirc but as with everything in this country quite a few people jumped on the bandwagon and said they had problems

Oops - put some BP Ultimate in the other day when I had tried 2 Shell garages with no luck, then didn't have enough petrol to get to nearest Tesco that sells 99. I can't say I have really noticed any difference in car although it is unmodded and have only done short journeys since......would i have been better off just putting ordinary unleaded in then

Does anyone have a list or link or sat nav POIs for Tesco 99 locations?

Can't find anything on Tesco web site.

Andy F (who mapped my car), confirmed that if i couldn't get V Power, Tesco 99 was next best.

Tesco 99 all the way for me and I'm regularly getting an average of 280-300 miles out of a full tank!
