Up in a place I used to work, you could get a donner pizza. Basically a pizza with donner meat all over it and then a bit more cheese.
Absolutely no frigging good for the insides but who gives a ****, I thought they were luverly.

I'm risking abuse here.. but I've seen better looking stuff in the bog after one of my more memorable dumps (and if anyone can remember the "Tonight I am a man" post they'll know what I'm talking about!)

'Doner' is just a way of cooking, like poaching or frying. See post #5, ie vertical spit roasting.
The food content is no different to your average sausauge or burger.
I love 'em
Richard.

I remember watching a program on channel 4 a while ago called 'You are what you eat' or something like that.
There was a woman on it that lived on Doner Kebabs until they showed her what was in the meat.
They said that the meat content was so poor that they add glue to it to make it stick together !
I haven't touched one since.
Oh and there's the fact that 1 Doner Kebab has enough fat to fill a large wine glass and over 1000 calories

I had a kebab the other day, and in a one of the big slices of animal eyebrow, their was...
A small piece of carpet! You know the little tufts as they're attached to the roll.
Needless to say I pulled it out, smothered it in garlic sauce and ate the rest of it!

J4ckos mate once consumed 2* Donner Kebabs and a Meat and Potato pie outside the Chippy near the Griffin Heald Green, neither of us are strangers to the delights of the late night takeaway, despite his disgust.
I reserve judgement, right now that doesn't look very appealing, however at 3am after many beers it would look almost sexual.
Anyway Dr McKeith, I appreciate you are full on into Ketosis, doing the old Atkins but there is a rumour that we may be out this weekend.

I once bought a Cornish Pasty..........
Bit into it and a full eye, complete with all the **** that attaches it fell out.
Never again will I eat sausage, burger or anything else that isn't fully formed as intended!
I only eat mince that I have minced.
Kebabs are just fatty off cuts, BTW. Usually shoulder and about 45% fat.

From: It's like finding a cocktail sausage, when what you really wanted was a rather large saveloy.
I saw an episode of 'The Hairy Bikers' the other day and they were making a donar kebab in Turkey.
I can't remember what bits of meat were in there but they layered it up with sheeps tail fat...
I always imagine donars to be cat on a stick.. never touched one and never will they look minging

I personally dont rate em and stick to lamb shish as you at least know what it is and tastes fab on the few occasions I actually go to the kebab shop.
Im sure they did a check on Gordon Ramsays F Word and showed that there were decent cuts of meat in a doner. That said its probably for some gastro £10 a kebab type shop in mayfair and a millions miles away from what is used in the average one.

Cor,people are so lily livered nowadays! I had a lovely mixed meat last night.Donner(lamb),chicken and something else(surprise)
So,do you lot not like liver ? Black pudding (mmmmm),Ox Tail soup,Spare ribs (silly question I suppose).
If its cookable and nice to chew i'm in there(you do get nice chewy bits in Ox Tail)
(Mind you, remember this advert YouTube - When Will I See You Again?)

Donner meat is the offcut of males appendages that have been removed during sex change surgery.
The first person to undergo this was Darren, who later became Donna. The operation was performed by a team of scouse doctors/nurses
At the exact same time as the removal of said appendage, one nurse asked another nurse what the patients new name was to which she replied Donna.
The first nurse didnt like this name and said Donna eeeeerrrr (in a scouse accent). The turkish cleaner who was in the theatre at the time then had the idea of selling said appendages with the name of Donner (He didnt know the nurse was saying 2 words when she said Donna errrrr)
that folks is a true story . . . .
